The new albumworks editor is here
The all NEW albumworks editor is now available. It provides more products, more design options and bigger products and will make it even easier to create stunning photobooks.
Please note, the new editor is not compatible with your existing projects. Any new projects must be started in the new editor. To make the transition easy, the old editor will continue to be available until February 2011 for ordering of existing projects.
We’ve compiled a list of FAQ’s to answer questions you might have about the change.
- Why are you making this change?
- Can I order my existing projects with the new editor?
- How long will the current albumworks software be available for?
- Is there a Mac version available?
- What are the details of the discount offer you are promoting?
- Can you tell me more about the competition?
Why are you making this change? What are the benefits?
There are SIX main reasons:
1. More products 2. More design options 3. More pages 4. More dynamic 5. Better offers 6. Mac support
- More products: We’re now able to offer more binding styles (wire bound, soft cover and hard cover) and album sizes across the range. The top of the photo book range is now an absolutely stunning A3 photobook. It’s joined by photobooks that start in size from 15x15cm and scale through 21x21cm to 30x30cm. Just pick your size and choose your binding method it’s that easy. There are even more products being released in August. More on that in a few weeks time....
- More design options: The new editor provides enhanced design tools that make creating a stunning album even easier. For example with one click you can create a layout of scattered Polaroid-style shots elegantly layed out on a double page with subtle shadows to enhance. You can exactly position items on the page, align them left/right or centre - no more juggling items into position. There are more layouts with better effects and there are more to come.
- More pages:The new editor enables albums of up to 200 pages in all photobooks except A3 which has a 100 page limit. As you add more pages the extra page price gets lower which provides great value (and very large) albums.
- More dynamic: The editor at each opening checks for any new material that is available. With each change in season we will be providing new backgrounds and designs to make creating your products more creative and professional.
- Better offers: There is a wider range of pricing options that means there is some great packaged purchasing options on their way. More on this in a few months....
- Mac: Yes, a Mac version is here. Thanks for the constant urging and we’re pleased that we can finally provide native Mac support.
