They say a picture’s worth 1,000 words and most Photo Books and Calendars are proof positive of that. But sharing your story is often about well chosen words too. So here’s a few hints and tips for complementing your photos with text to tell a rich and rewarding story.
To kick things off, I’d just like to cover what you’ve been asking about throwing a few words into the mix.
How do I add text?
It’s super easy! Just choose the page where you want to weave some words into your story and hit the "Add Text Box" button. It's simple to spot. You’ll find it in the menu above the page you’re working on and below the album 'overview' bar.
It’s got a big green '+' sign just above the letters ‘Aa’.
Give that a hit and a text box will appear on your page. Size, shape and position this text box however you like.
When you’re ready to start writing your story, double click on the text box and away you go. Here you can choose fonts, sizes and colours!
Make sure you check back next week, because we’ll be talking about font size. That’s possibly the most asked question about working with text.
See you then!
