Last week I gave you some pointers on Photo Book covers - but what about when you think you’re ready to order? If you want a fresh pair of eyes to look over your album before you hit print, you’re not alone. Here’s how the preview option can help.

Can I have my photo book checked before I order?

Absolutely! What you’re talking about is a nifty little thing called a ‘proof’.

Just go to your drop-down ‘File’ menu (top left) and select ‘Create Proofs’.

The albumworks editor will work its magic and if there are any concerns with your album you’ll get all the details! Missing photos, low quality pics, empty text or picture boxes – nothing gets past the proofing wizard.

Once all is well, a handy wee 'Options' box will pop up on your screen. All that’s left to do is follow the prompts. Choose your proof format, pages and where you want it saved.

Presto! You’ve got a full colour proof to check over and share with any fresh pair of eyes you wish.
