I founded albumworks all the way back in 2006, and it’s hard to believe
it’s been 20 years. Across two decades, our photobooks have captured all the big
milestones in my family’s life - birthdays, holidays, adventures and celebrations. But
one that is incredibly close to my heart is a book telling the story of a ride I did with four
cycling mates from Sydney to Melbourne raising funds for Beyond Blue in 2015. It captures an
amazing 9-day challenge. It means the world to me now, as we lost one of the lads in a bike
accident two years ago. For me, that book is the perfect example of why albumworks matters so
much.

I joined the albumworks team all the way back in 2011 as the Head of IT. I love playing around with new technologies and finding cool new ways to help our customers tell their stories. When I’m not tinkering with our online share tool or developing a new print workflow, you’ll probably find me in the kitchen!

I have been a member of the albumworks team for over 16 years working across customer service, product development and marketing. I love chatting with our customers and hearing the fascinating stories behind their photobooks, as well as helping them with design and product advice, and troubleshooting the occasional technical challenge. As a keen Photo Book creator myself (with 15 books so far), I enjoy looking back on our family holidays and the special moments from when the kids were little. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me reading, playing computer games, or walking my cavoodle, Max.

Hi, I’m Kim, mum to a gorgeous 4 year old boy, fur mum to 2 beautiful pups, and Customer Service Manager at albumworks for 10 years. The best part of my role (aside from working with an amazing team) is seeing the happiness and joy we bring to our wonderful customers by helping them create and produce their photo books. I personally love creating my yearly calendar and photo book of my family. We often flick through our albums together, showing our friends and remembering the great times. Nothing compares to holding a physical book full of big pictures in our hands.

I’ve been part of the team at albumworks for 3 years, working across customer service and social content creation. I love helping customers bring their ideas to life, by answering questions, guiding them through the design process, and creating content that helps inspire new project ideas online. One of my favourite parts of the job is seeing people’s travel albums and family milestone books come together. Getting a glimpse into so many happy memories and adventures has inspired me to do a bit more travelling myself. Outside of work, I enjoy amateur photography, capturing little moments in everyday life.

I have worked at albumworks for nearly 2 years. My favourite part of this job is connecting with customers to help them solve their problems, I also love completing our VIP care reports to help customers get the best results for treasured albums. As an ex-professional photographer, editing and refining images brings me great satisfaction. When I’m not at work you will find me in my pottery studio or walking my dog Charlee. Creativity is so important to me and making albums is the perfect way to preserve the special moments in life with that in mind.
