As one of Australia's largest providers of Photo Books, Canvas Prints and Calendars, albumworks takes the protection of your Privacy seriously. We are committed to protecting your personal information and comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We also adhere to the Spam Act 2003 and relevant anti-spam regulations.

Collection of Information

When you use the albumworks Editor, we may collect your email address to provide you with access, updates or offers if you have given consent. When you place an order for any albumworks Photo Book, Canvas, Calendar or other product, we collect your billing and delivery information to fulfil your purchase.

We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for these purposes and will not disclose it to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

Our suppliers and service providers may handle your information (for example, for printing, delivery, hosting, analytics or email communication), but they are not permitted to retain, store, share or use your data for any other purpose. Some providers may operate outside Australia; we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information in accordance with Australian privacy standards.

Use of Information

We use your personal information to:

• Process and deliver your orders

• Communicate with you about your projects or support requests

• Send marketing communications about albumworks products, promotions and updates, but only where you have provided express consent

We use Mailchimp to manage our email communications. When you subscribe to our mailing list, your name and email address are stored securely on Mailchimp’s servers.  Mailchimp is not permitted to use your information for any purpose other than sending albumworks emails on our behalf.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us directly.

Credit Card Information

albumworks uses the National Australia Bank (NAB) Hosted Payments Service for all transactions. albumworks does not have access to your credit card details; all payment processing occurs directly between you and NAB.

Access and Correction

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information at any time by contacting us via our contact form.  We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. 

Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above and take reasonable steps to securely destroy or de-identify information when no longer required.
