Last week we talked about leaving blank pages in your Photo Book.
In this way, you create a sort of ‘live’ story as other people write their thoughts and comments on the blank pages. It’s a lovely idea for special events, but you don’t want the wrong pen ruining your photo spread!
Here’s how to go about it.
Can photo book pages be written on?
You bet...but proceed with care.
Our paper is a special stock designed for photo printing so it doesn’t soak up ink like your trusty copy paper.
That said, a basic ballpoint pen works really well.If you prefer, a fine tipped texta or permanent marker will also work great too. Just be sure to let your writing dry before you touch it - the last thing you want is a smudgy album!
This is the last edition for now in our ‘Printing & Ordering’ mini-series. For more Photo B and Calendar tips and tricks be sure to check out our other Photo Books 101 Tutorials: “Working with Photos”, “Working with Text” and “Working with Layouts”.
Hope you've found this series helpful!
Please write me know (below) if we can help with any other aspect of putting together your Photo Book, Poster or Calendar!
