Working with Layouts Part 4

In my last post, Photo Books 101: What is the Grey Shaded Area, I was chatting with you about how to not lose text or photos in the binding zone. As promised, I’m back this week to look at background colours with you. There are loads of great backgrounds to be had for your album that we often get asked about ...
How do I have a solid background colour?
Geez I love easy questions ... almost as much as you’ll love this easy answer!
Wander over to the menu on your right hand side. See the little button with a paint can tipping slightly? This is the critter you want! One click and you’ll have options to set a solid colour background for every page.
Little white boxes in your menu let you choose which page you’re colouring. Another little click on the white box will bring up a whole spectrum of colours.
So get your creative juices flowing! Use colour to make a theme throughout your album. Or go zany and splash a different colour on every page. Colourific!
That’s it for background colours for the time being. After this we’ll be de-mystifying page layouts in Photo Books 101: Do I have to use your Page Styles?.
See you again next week!
Sandra
