What size font is best for photo books?

Last week we took a quick tour of text boxes and how to get one into your page. But what’s the best size font to use once that’s done? You want to get your words looking stylish or sassy ... but still easy to read.

What size font is best?

This is your story ... so font is totally down to choice.

But there are some rules of thumb to keep your written content working hard and looking good.

Love swirly fonts? Me too! But these work best in a larger size and on plain or simple backgrounds. So save them for headings or you might hit visual overload.

Meanwhile good old standard fonts work a treat on busy backgrounds (where you’ve let creativity run wild) and for general text. You can make these a bit smaller too and that means more space to tell your tale.

Hope that’s a help! Next time we’ll review how to insert symbols for international fonts. So you can create your story in any language.

Till you next time!

Sandra
