Show us your albumworks - all our winners.

Our "Show us your albumworks" competition warmed the cockles of our little hearts. We asked you to share your albumworks Photo Books, Canvas, Calendars and more, and tell us why you made them - and you did!! We loved reading your stories, and seeing all your beautiful products, and it was really difficult to pick winners.

But pick them we did. So without further ado:

"My Dad is 96 and his memory is not as good as it was. Every year i make him a calendar with family photos where we can write when there are outings planned, visitors note their names so he can remember to tell us who has been, and to remind himself he is not alone. "Memories, memories, memories! What better way to keep them safe than in my twenty six photo books, lovingly compiled for family occasions - my mother's 90th birthday, my children's weddings and 40th birthdays, my grandchildren starting school and there's even a family history album with multiple copies distributed to the family. Of course revisiting our travel destinations through my albums gives us lots of pleasure. Each year since 2009, I've begun an annual photo diary in January and added to it month by month to have it printed in the following new year. The 2015 album is well underway. So many of my friends have made Albumworks photobooks after admiring mine."

"I have been making Albumworks albums since our first Scenic river cruise in 2010 and haven’t looked back, I have become obsessed. My passion is taking photos and making memories. My books have been created in all sizes offered by Albumworks, and all with a photo covers.

My precious books consist of: My eldest brother Chris who passed away suddenly and I only wish I had made one for him whilst he was alive, my 50th Medieval Birthday party were my husband built his princess a Castle on the front of the carport with real chains as a draw bridge and my beautiful friend made me an 11 metre medieval banner, a wedding album for my Nephew and his wife with matching presentation box, this is absolutely beautiful and still waiting to give it to them, and making memory albums for each of my nieces and nephews of photos I have taken of them growing up to become wonderful adults that they are today.

Other books made are the recording of our travel memories including further albums for friends we made on our cruises, I am just lucky we go with Scenic river cruises and not cruise ships.....

Anyone making the Albums understands that a lot of time, effort and love goes into an Album. 'There is no better gift then from the HEART'."

"My son is 'digger' crazy so for his second birthday I made him a photo book with a story about him and his favourite toy. He loves it and it doubles as a great keepsake as it is full of photos of him doing the things he loves. We also gave a copy to each set of grandparents."

BRENTON CROCKER

"I did my first album for my first ever trip overseas. The finished product couldn't have turned out better. I think albums are the best way to present your special memories to share. Once i did my first, i was hooked in creating more. I made two more albums for both of my sisters, a "my first Christmas" album of both of my niece and nephew who were both born last yr resulting in me being an uncle for the first time. Thirdly i ordered a canvas print of when i went to america of an epic photo i took. It is displayed in my room. Everyone loves it! I plan on doing many more albums and canvas prints in the future for myself and as gifts. Thanks albumworks! You are my number 1 choice!"
