What is text hot-stamping and how do I add it to my Photo Book order?

Text hot-stamping is a beautiful way to personalise the Premium Material cover of your hardcover Photo Book. It involves pressing your custom message into the cover using metal plates, with the option to add a metallic foil or create a subtle debossed impression.

You can choose:

  • Typeface: Optima or Helvetica 36pt (except 8x8" and 8x6" books which use a 14pt font)

  • Finish: Gold foil, Silver foil, or Blind (debossed with no foil)

  • Text: 1 or 2 lines, up to 25 characters per line (see list of available characters below)

You can also choose to add hot-stamping to your slip case or presentation box during checkout.

How to add it to your order:

  1. Choose a Premium Material cover for your Photo Book during project setup

  2. On the ‘My Cart’ screen of the shopping cart, click the ‘Change’ button under Add-On Hot Stamping.

  3. Select the typeface and finish you’d like, then click ‘Change’.

  4. Enter your desired text in the fields provided.
