Why do my pictures move when I place them at the edge of the page?
If you place a picture directly on or near the red trim line, the editor will automatically shift it slightly — either 3mm outside the red line or 6mm inside — to account for trimming tolerances during production.
This is to help avoid uneven borders or unintended white strips in your final printed book.
Here’s how to avoid movement:
If you want your image to bleed off the page, drag it all the way to the outer blue line
If you want a background around your image, place it at least 6mm inside the red trim line to keep spacing even
These adjustments ensure a clean, professional finish once your album is trimmed.
